The reduced xp requirement and the increased quest xp only applies up to level 60. Once you get to outland, quests and mobs already give really good xp and the gear is so good there that they basically just want to encourage people to level up to outland so they can enjoy that phase of the game, but it will feel like you suddenly aren't leveling as quickly.
By the way, if anyone in the guild is high enough in alchemy I need one arcanite bar for my Dreadsteed quest and I should be able to provide the mats to you. Also if we have any high level skinners, I desperately need 3 Black Dragonscale for the same quest and haven't seen any in the AH over the last couple of days. I will gladly pay you for your time as I know they're hard to get but I need the motherfuckers.
Oh man, I just found a lock who's willing to give me 2 black dragonscale once he gets them from skinning AND is willing to join us when I go for my dreadsteed so that I don't have to buy the jar, lodestone, and glyphs which will save me 200g. Now I just need that arcanite bar.

Awesome, I got all my mats taken care of now and just need to head to Scholo tonight to get the parchment, then we can do the last step of the quest and I'll have my dreadsteed. I'd actually rather pay for the jar, lodestone, and glyphs so that I'll be able to save other guild locks the money when it comes time for them to do it (and perhaps make some money on the side helping non-guild locks).
