So if you were wondering what film was probably going to get Best Picture this year at the Oscars, you would be hard pressed to find a better candidate. Fuck 3 10 to Yuma. Fuck American Gangster. There is only one film that contains the pure joy and raw emotion of an epic, with the sensitivity of such pieces like The Horse Whisperer or Schindler's List.
