The MK soundtrack is hilarious, my favorite is Scorpion: Lost Soul Bent on Revenge. I am furiously giggling while I type this just thinking of it.

I actually picked up MK: The Album at a garage sale not too long after the movie came out. It was kind of cool way back then but over the summer I gave it a listen while going through some of my lesser listened CDs and man, it is hilarious now. Besides "Techno Syndrome" and "Hypnotic House," there isn't decent song on the whole disc.
Which song would you guys say is the worst? I think "Rayden (Eternal Life)" is up there, along with "Sonya (Go Go Go)." They're all just so lazy...
I also have the soundtrack and score for the film, which have fortunately aged a lot more gracefully.
There's no trace of irony in any of the songs, just good, earnest enthusiasm for Mortal Kombat.
