None of my 360 content works. Help!!!

So I had to send off my 360 to get repaired and I was surprised at how fast I got it back. Or should I say sent me a new one. I go through setting up, recover my gamertag and now none of content that was on my hard drive works. All of the Arcade games I bought now say they are trials and I can’t continue my game of Halo 3 because it will come up the title of the level then go back to the title screen.

Can anyone offer any advice on what to do here? Can MS unlock my content or am I screwed?

Call Microsoft is my advice. If you paid for that content, it should be associated with your account. There's probably some problem with your live account that they can fix.

Well your console ID has obviously changed. Content relies on a specific Console ID (the ID of the console you bought the content on; and the Gamertag associated with it (or was it the hard drive? eh). When one of those changes, shit gets fucked up. A call to a real live person during business hours will help. Just don't call at night unless you want to speak to someone on the opposite end of the world who has no idea how to help you.

From my understanding, this is an ongoing problem with no real solution. What I have heard is that once you get a new machine, you can access all of the old content from the profile from which they were purchased, but you can no longer access them from other profiles, which you could do on your first machine. I'm not sure if you need to do something in order to get the content back on to your profile (like rebuy for free or call MS and have them twiddle something), but last I heard, MS has no way of getting your content back into the same state it was on your old machine, which is total crap.
