Xbox 360 Elite or PS3

I'm choosing which console to buy; I've narrowed it down to these two - the 360 Elite and the PS3. So, what do you people think I should buy?

Just post which you think I should buy and give me a good reason.

Action games, First-person shooters... That kind of thing.

    360 Elite - more games now, cheaper than the PS3.

    Go to www.gamerankings.com and see what the best reviewed titles on both are and check out the upcoming releases. See which appeals to you more.

    For my taste 360 is the easy choice.

    *sigh* This is going to turn into a war if anyone posts... Oh well.

    The 360's probably your best bet. It's got a great online service with a great library of exclusives. The PS3 on the other hand really doesn't have much besides Metal Gear Solid 4 (pretty much the killer ap for the system). I guess you've got Rachet and Clank and Resistance, but the 360 has games that match the quality of those games and then some. Plus, now that Sony's taken out backwards compatability, you won't be able to play games that are making the PS2 still surpass the PS3 in sales. So yeah:

    Xbox 360.
