Pokemon, I think. I'm really not the authority. I shouldn't even be posting.

Hopefully this will be a popular feature eventually. There were quite a few games doing the cumbersome GBA connectivity. With everyone on earth owning a DS now, you'd think they'd implement this a little more.

Wasn't there a pokemon game that was supposed to do this as well? Not sure if it's out or not.

Yeah, Pokemon Battle Revolution lets you do multiplayer with DSs so you can't see what moves other people are choosing. You can also trade items/pokemon between the DS and Wii games.

I thought for sure there was another game that let you link them up, but I can't remember anything off the top of my head, so maybe not.

    This, this right here.

Imagine a new version of Crystal Chronicles, using the DS.

I can see it in my mind and it is so beautiful. Luminous, even.

I love the idea that we'll supposedly be able to use our Wiis like the demo download stations they have at Best Buy. Bully idea, that one.

You can also trade items/pokemon between the DS and Wii games.

You can only copy Pokés to the Wii. It's nothing like Stadium, sadly.

What's the deal with Super Paper Mario. I can't be the only one who saw a giant DS inside the cook's house can I? Is there any connectivity in it?

    Take a tactical tack.
One or more Wii-remote users would act as "generals" and individual DSs could be individual soldiers in that general's military unit. Who says there has to be a limit to how many DSs can connect to a Wii at once?

It's an unbelievably simple concept, no?

This could tier all the way up into a war game of MMO-sized scale with the whole Nintendo WiFi connection.

    It is.

I kinda meant, "I love the idea that one day we'll get that functionality in the US," but I can see how that might not have been clear.

Bluetooth limitations won't affect the number of DS's. The DS only has Wi-Fi.

Has there been any announcement of even a vague plan to get the DS channel set up for the rest of the world that isn't Japan?
