Shamelessly promoting my anti-Eidos/Gamespot agenda

I assume most people have heard about the whole Eidos vs Jeff Gretsmann saga already.

Well, as a followup to that, me and some friends embarked on a mission to destroy every single copy of Kane & Lynch, prevent anyone we know from ever buying any of their games, and hopefully make sure no other game publisher dares to pressure a gaming site to fire it's editor over a bad review.

I actually bought the game when it was released, but I never got around to playing it. I have no desire to play that game after what Eidos did. Instead, I hammered the disc to death, burned it, and uploaded the video to the internet.

I think more people should probably buy Kane & Lynch.

A friend of mine really likes the game. Why would he stop enjoying something he likes and paid a lot of money for because the publisher is unethical?

Also, hurting the publisher by having no one buy Kane & Lynch would probably hurt the developer, IO Interactive.

If Kane & Lynch sucks, then you're an idiot to want to prevent anyone from playing it because the publisher is unethical (which doesn't affect the quality of the game itself).

If Kane & Lynch is good, then you're an even bigger idiot because you want to prevent people from playing a good game just because the publisher is unethical (which, again, does NOT affect the quality of the game).
