Speaking of Korean movies, The Host was fucking terrible.

The premise made so much sense to me (monster eats bitches and they bitch like bitches), but when the movie opens and you see the monster in broad ass day light then the shit is over. Immediately the movie is over and bad.

I kinda liked Shoot 'Em Up. Wasn't any sort of "adrenaline fueled roller coaster". It just made me laugh. A lot.

I've been watching a helluva lot of movies recently, but I can't think of any I really enjoyed.

This one thoroughly reminds me of the time I was banned from my friend's friends after a party.

I was talking about "speed bag fisting" someone's mother with visual aid.

    Touches my heart, it does.

    Watterson is the shit.

No offense to you well meaning youngsters but seriously wtf is wrong with kids today.

I was just watching the news and some teenager had stole about $150 from a girl scout. They got caught and when they were being interviewed said they didn't feel bad about taking the money because they really wanted it. Mainly they were pissed because they got caught.

    Indeed.

That story reminds me of a friend of mine who got kicked off a sports team for drinking on the freaking bus while coming back from a game. He was pissed because they caught him and punished him w/out any real evidence (aside from, you know, a couple of the kids on the bus telling the coach...)

When all you old people die, I'll kill everyone, save Projeck. Then we'll re-inhabit the earth with intelligent people.

    Wait. Can...can we do that?

It's a little hard to repopulate the earth if you "kill everyone"

But other than that, be my guest ;)

Must be one hell of a picture if they're letting you put, "BTW the photographer thinks this article is bullshit" as the caption.

Well I don't think it's that great but whatever. We'll see if it's still there tomorrow since it was a largely automated process.

Hahaha I posted that same thing a few pages ago.

    Pretty nuts, isn't it? :P

You know how gas stations have signs up in their windows that say "We Had a $1000 Winner!" and the like?

We should do that same thing, only with Alduar, and instead of money, skill and fame.

    I know man, totally nuts.

See its weird, like when I see folks wearing Moss's shirts, how fair is it to say "hey I kind of know that guy." Like when Alduar is designing the next cloverfeild monster, im going to feel some sense of pride in the whole thing, but is that really founded?

And another note, how do you guys feel about ConceptArt.org? I've got way mixed feelings about the whole place.

Like with most of those places, they're nice to look at every little while but the actual posts that don't include art are as dull as cardboard.

Yeah I always thought of conceptart.org as more of an industry gallery. Its super inspiring to look through but isnt a hugely helpful community, crit wise. I used to feel the same way about EP but things have seem to have died down there in general. What happened to that place?

I think the pride is okay - I mean, we still had a level of communication with him, "before he was big". Almost the same as e-mailing somebody back and forth, only without the one-on-one exclusivity.

I personally love ConceptArt.org. I agree with Iruka that it's more like an industry gallery, but that's what I love about it. It's a place I get to see the work of people that are actually in there doing that awesome stuff I want to do.

I've found some of the non-art posts interesting and helpful, but the vast majority of the time I spend on that site, I spend browsing the art posts.
