My step mom wants me to pick up a football game for my dad for Christmas. Cool, I can do that... But she wants it for the Wii. I need to know if you guys have any suggestions on an easy-to-learn football game on the Wii.
Is there any other choice, other than Madden 07 or 08? If not, which of the two should I pick up. Keep in mind he will NOT be going online with the game. He will probably play it once or twice when he has some friends over... So it's pretty important that it be easy for people who have only played Wii Sports to pick up.

08 is trashy by comparison.
So 07 is easier to play/learn than 08?
They tried to make EZ mode controls for 08. They failed. Those controls suck ass. The controls for 07 are relatively simple for a Madden game, which is to say that its somewhat less complex than a full on aviator sim. You can pick it up pretty easily though.
