Huzzah, another Bomberman Live expansion pack!

Personally I think anything to do with Bomberman is MS points well spent. Even if they aren't. :P
On December 26th 2007, Bomberman Live will receive the next pack downloadable for 250 points. The Bomb-Up Pack 3 will include, new characters, new levels, new game modes and new leaderboards. With these latest additions, players will be able to further enjoy the non-stop, explosive action of Bomberman LIVE in new arenas, including “Cavity Land,” a delicious candy land, and the fully-automated assembly lines of “Robot Factory.”

“We’ve enjoyed great success with Bomberman LIVE and all of its additional downloadable content,” said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. “We strive to give gamers what they want, including tournaments, and providing content via Xbox LIVE is a great way to do so.”

This Bomberman LIVE add-on pack will add the following features:

·Ten New Characters – With new characters like “Shinobi Bomb” the ninja and “Bomb2-D2” the robot, players can customize their in-game Bomberman in even more new ways.

·Two Additional Levels – New arenas include “Cavity Land,” a sugary sweet candy land, and the industrial “Robot Factory.” Both levels allow users to select any gimmick to use.

·One New Game Mode – In “Friendly Fire,” there’s no place to hide as you race to get the most frags. Players start with the “power bomb” power-up and hard blocks are replaced by holes, leaving nothing to stop explosions, except Bombermen!

·Two New Leaderboards – Gaze down upon the Bomberman masses from atop two new ranking systems on the Xbox LIVE network. The new leaderboards will track performance on both a weekly and an all-time basis for the new “Friendly Fire” game mode.

    I don't know...

    If you don't have Bomberman Live! Buy it now as it is one of the best multiplayer games around. Having said that though, the game is so solid I don't know if its worth forking over for the additional content. Thoughts?

    If you're a hardcore "play every day" bomberman fanatic then I'd say yes. Otherwise maybe not.

    To be honest though I've been buying the expansions as they come since they are so cheap.

    So how much is Bomberman, and how much content is there so far? I love me some Bomberman but still haven't gotten around to getting Bomberman Live. I may have to do so when I get my 360 back.

    I bought it and have been playing a friend online, but we don't know that many more people with the game (And hosting an open game to random folk didn't yield positive results). I'll be online this weekend if anyone fancies a game :)

    I believe the game is 800 points and than I believe all three packs are 250 points each, should be 1550 points for everything.

    I bought the last two packs and haven't even played the game with them. It's too good of a game not to be played. I need to get back into it.
