I'm pretty stoked. Christmas with my in-laws. They gave The Orange Box and Mass Effect. I also got the NYKO Wii battery charging station.

I really married into an awesome family. I felt like a kid last night.

I'm also working the night/morning shift today/tomorrow. So I won't really have time to watch much G Gundam, or play much Witcher.

As of right now, the only thing I know I'm getting is Mario Galaxy (which I bought myself so we could get the $25 gift card from Toys r Us). Other than that, I have no clue. I do know a largish Thinkgeek box arrived a few weeks back, so that has me very intrigued.

Oh - I did get a pair of Nerf Mavericks (for me and my son) from my Secret Santa.

But what I really can't wait for is to give my sister her present tonight. My Mom and Dad are getting awesome gifts, but I really put effort into her gift. She's going to get Pokemon Pearl and Mario Kart DS, but theres a trick to it. Both games have been taken out of the box and carefully placed into a GBA box.

This GBA game happens to be Dora The Explorer. She hates Dora the Explorer. Refuses to let her kids watch it. I've taken this GBA box to work and re-sealed it with shrink wrap. It looks unopened. I'm going to give it, and only it, to her tonight. The look on her face will be priceless.

I really have no idea. I think it's a great show for kids to watch, but she's just got something against it. A fantastic mother, but with some very odd eccentricities.

I thought this was going to be a thread on the PSP.

I got me a PS3 sitting under the tree, although I spent $200 of my own money on it. I also have 5 games thus far thanks to gift cards: CoD4, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet & Clank Future, and Uncharted. I'm pretty stoked.

Oh, and I have this really nice Texas Longhorns hoodie which I got to pick out. It's starting to get cold-ish in texas so I'm looking forward to it.

EDIT: To clarify, it's a 40 gb PS3 unless my parents really want to surprise me and got me an 80 gb one. I suspect it's a 40 gb one because I told them I'd pay for half of it and gave them $200.

I have no idea what I'm getting specifically but it will probably involve a bunch of clothes and possibly some books. I'll undoubtedly receive 3-5 PS2 games from the <$5 bin at Gamestop from my sister, those are always worth a laugh.

A buddy and I exchanged gifts on Saturday and we both got Uncharted. That was worth a chuckle.

My dad was pondering getting a PS3 and Rock Band for my sister and her family.... I really hope he does.

My dad got me a new leatherman(weee) and a bunch of popcorn accessories(weird).

Three 360 games: The Orange Box, Naruto Rise of a Ninja and The Darkness.

Three Wii games: Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem RD and Resident Evil UC.

And probably some clothes and other random items. My girlfriend got me a AAA road emergency kit, The Bourne Supremacy and Blade Runner the Final Cut too.

Plus I bought myself Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata and Bioshock as early presents.

Fuck it. This is one regard in which I refuse to grow up!

I really have no idea. I think it's a great show for kids to watch, but she's just got something against it. A fantastic mother, but with some very odd eccentricities.

I don't want to derail, so I'll just say the actual look of the show is crap and beyond the language aspect it's the same kid's show blandness.

I expect cash this year. But I got my brother Fire Emblem for the Wii. I'm not a fan of the series, but he should love it.

I've only got gifts from my GF which were CoD4 (360), some clothes, and I asked for the old transformers movie (cartoon) and she got me a movie called transmorphers...she thought it said transformers and that the cover looked differently so she assumed that was it...I've watched it, and it made me cry a little....so bad...so cheesey

When I worked at blockbuster, Transformers was coming out in theaters and Transmorphers had just arrived at blockbuster. I get the feeling I inadvertently broke so many kids hearts... I eventually started warning people that it was a knock off.

The company who makes that movie specializes in making knock off movies. They're all hilariously bad... Snakes on a Train. Yeah.

Being as nice as possible, you should explain that people like her are the reason children cry when grandma gets them a video game. This is an absolutely crucial point and you will be doing the whole world a service.

My wife and I bought each other this for Christmas. As such, Christmas otherwise will be a little sparse this year. I bought her Doctor Who: Series 3 (new one) for about $70, and I'm told she's spent about the same amount on me.

There's still my mother tomorrow, who's bought me god knows what. Apparently some games, but my wife was with her to help her choose, so I'm not worried about that.
