A good fantasy action movie that has a decent plot, but no mother fucking love story. I'm so tired of seeing people getting spited on swords and pikes. Hearing people scream in pain while the chaos of battle flows around them. And then when you least expect it, cut to the main bad ass talking tenderly to some wench instead of being all bad ass like he's supposed to be.

    I have never really understood this sentiment.

    I read the books after the movie and there was just as much, if not more, singing and Frodo being gay and crap.

    Its not because they're bad films or anything, its just because they were made instead of a Foundation series of films

    I like The Foundation a million times more than I do Lord of the Rings

    Okay I think I read the first Foundation book.

    I don't really remember anything that would be interesting to watch in that.

    Granted, but it does not translate well to film at all.

    Those movies would bomb so hard.

    It's too intellectual, not that that's bad, but it's just not exciting.

    chronicles of riddick is the only instance where the game turned out better than the movie

    That's the problem with most of these movies people come up with that they think would be awesome; the studios want it to appeal to as many people as possible if they are spending that much money.
