Man, I'm gonna stick with the book, but issue 7 more or less convinced me that New Warriors is gonna be canceled after the end of this new story arc. If Grevioux has some magical comic pixie dust, he needs to employ that shit ASAP. Re-introducing old NW villains sure as shit isn't the way to go right now.
Was there a stand-in artist for the latest Thor, or was it rushed out? For whatever reason, the art seemed to take a bit of a dip.
Oh, and I agree with Hooray: even the first issue of New Warriors seemed fairly weak to me. That could be because I don't know any of the characters, but if prior knowledge of characters is necessary to make the first issue of a series enjoyable, I don't know what to say.

No, but it's rather amusing given the shit Frank's been put through to be surprised at the pain his nemesis endures.
For a non-superhuman to endure 45 straight minutes of having his balls hooked up to a car battery is just crazy. He's not going anywhere (unless Ennis is cutting and running because the dude is going to die, and that'd be fucking lame).
I think that Barracuda, Punisher, and that guy from the first Max story-arc are like frickin' metas in terms of punishment absorbed. That little guy who's sister showed up a few arcs later was coming at Frank with a huge hunk of metal fence impaled through his entire body....that was hardcore.
That last panel is why in a fight you punch the bitch first.

As for The Punisher, I don't doubt that what they endure is within the limits of normal human physiology. What the toughest (Frank and Barracuda especially) have going for them even further is a near-superhuman, but totally believable, will to live.
