Can't view photos from img.photobucket.com/
SmasherStarting to get dizzyRegistered Userregular
The past few weeks, I've been unable to see any photos from img.photobucket.com/. I can go to photobucket.com and everything loads (the images are from subdomains like i0006.photobucket.com), but when someone links to the img subdomain it just sits loading forever.
I'm using firefox 2.0.0.11. Images are set to load automatically, and photobucket isn't set to be blocked. I even have photobucket.com and img.photobucket.com explicitly set to allow, but it still doesn't work. I have a few addons installed, but adblock isn't one of them and I don't think noscript would work like that. Even if it does, I've whitelisted it just to be safe. I've reset my cache as well.
I was having the same problem a few weeks ago, i think some of their servers moved and the DNS servers arent being updated properly. I added openDNS to my list of DNS servers, and its been working ever since.

Anyone have ideas what's going wrong?
If it does come up again, you might want to set firefox to 'enable referrer logging', which can also cause images hosted on certain sites to not load if it isn't functioning.

In any case, this seems to have magically resolved itself (guess Zeon was right about the DNS servers), so lock away.
