A lot of cheffery schools that I know of do not allow facial hair of any sort. Like, drag a credit card across your face before class to make sure. Also amusing stories involving vaginas and clean shavenness and intense suction.

Electric razors just can't handle my scruffy neck. I simply have to use a razor.

My electric has one of those flip up beard trimmers on the back, but I use it to cut all of my facial hair down to about 1/16th of an inch. If I really want to shave down further, I occaisionally use the regular side, but 99% of the time I can get away with being stubbly because my beard tends to be red/blonde.
yeah if you skip a day or 2 you have to use the beard trimmer first, especially on the neck.
