For those reading the other thread and seeing Squashua's epic reveal post, I recommend you not contact him because there's no proof right now to assume he is telling the truth that either he is a mason for the good guys or if he even had anyone contact him already.
I'd almost suggest letting him die to see if he dies clean or not because thralls typically show up as evil in the event that's what he is. The other unlikely scenario is that he's a role that was tested in a previous game where he dies and seers clean for a limited amount of time even though he may be evil.
Anywho, contacting people on day 1 like this is a risky thing to do, so I'd recommend folks keep to themselves what roles they have unless they want to chance dying early as a special of some sort.
May I say that Tossrock is still a special role of some kind and also Ardor has some smart words but when has a bad guy done an epic reveal to trick everyone.
It depends, whenever I'm a bad guy, I always recommend trying something new. If Squashua is a part of a decently large group of bad guys, what he's doing may get a special or two to come out, especially when the bad guys 'fail' to kill him tonight.
Second, the fact that a bad guy probably hasn't done a reveal like that before doesn't mean it won't happen. There's a whole lot of risk you take today by contacting him and very, very little you lose by not doing so tomorrow, assuming he lives until then.
If he's got at least 2 other members in his group, tonight he should name one of them before narration so if he dies clean, people can contact his buddy. If not, then he's taking the risk a guardian even exists in the first place. Him dying clean tonight with giving the rest of us nothing to work with from his words means we gain nothing from him doing this other than the potential for a dead innocent. I'd like to think he's smarter than that and not relying that people will contact him.

regular villagers that work for the baddies. when killed they show up as human, thus look innocent (sometimes the game is changed where full roles are divulged at death)

Hahaha I just got to the episode where Giles opens the Magic Shop and Buffy bursts in the door and he's standing there wearing a wizard robe and hat.
Raneados nearly wins the entire game just with one phrase.

I don't know if I should put off voting until I am under a haze of anesthesia
Sunnydale is so much... nicer.
What about the fact that in Sunnydale, the roving gangs high on PCP outnumber the rest of the population?
Dude, it's not that different.
But you expect that shit in LA.
