Uh. I always forget what comics I'm reading because most of them come out once a year as little digests (Scott Pilgrim), or are manga (Drifting Classroom) or I buy as a trade because it's more economical. A company/creator has to make it worth my while to buy something as a single, so if I do pick something up, it's either giving me a solid bit of story or whatever for my $3.00 or it's got some extra fun bits (like Casanova).
Anyway, these are the comics I make an effort to buy in singles, and have the shop 'hold' for me:
-Immortal Iron Fist
-Casanova
-All-Star Superman
-Astonishing X-Men (which I mostly just buy out of habit because, honestly, this book is not paced for a single) (or rather, it would be if it came out, you know, monthly) (also I kind of don't like it?)
-Pirates of Coney Island
-Umbrella Academy
-Multiple Warheadz
I'm sure there's one or two more I'm forgetting as well. Also, lately I've been trying to catch up on the mounds and mounds of wonderful reprint material that is coming out.
I've been meaning to set up a pull list, but since I started collecting again I've just been grabbing off the shelves at lunch just after they get put up.
I buy so much its hard to actually sit down and write what I want.... gah.
