SSBBrawl is not trying to do the VF5 or SC4 thing. It's a different type of game entirely.
I enjoy the Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry series as action games, but they don't kick me in the teeth the way No More Heroes looks like it's going to.
EDIT: What Renzo said. Don't compare an SSB game with VF or SC or any game like that, because it's not even trying to be that. No More Heroes is a little closer to other action games, but it's really a game that isn't just a shitty version of God of War, it's so much more.
