Also, no DX thread is complete without the obligatory link to Sunglasses At Night.
I did try to throw in a little reference in the OP under JC's description ;o
Oh, don't worry, I caught that (although I thought there was a chance you were making a reference to something Anna says early on). I just figured it should be linked for the poor souls that have not been there yet.
You could probably make it into a .gif. Or if you meant you don't know how to make one...I dunno. Take a tutorial on how to make .gifs? (I don't know how to make them myself.)
I meant using PHP so it loaded a different sig everytime the page loads up.
I haven't tried it since the switch to vBulletin, but someone(mcc I think) setup a sig rotator a while back that you may be able to use:

Goooood morning, just finished DX on Realistic for the first time. It's a lot of fun. It also helps when even my crappy laptop can load a save in .5 seconds. And having save and load mapped to highly convenient keys.
Highlight of the run
One-shotting Walton Simons with a Dragon's Tooth sword TO THE FACE.
Now for Shifter + HDTP.

This playthrough was great, because of instead of playing stealthy semi-pacifist dude, I was the angel of death.
Pretty much anyone who was a hostile, armed terrorist I hunted down and exterminated. Until I found out they were the good guys. Then anyone who was actively and voluntarily involved with MJ12 and knew what they were up to had to die. No civies, no UNATCO troops were harmed. Everyone in the labs of Versalife were executed for crimes against humanity. Which was fun because before I uploaded the ROM I snuck around with my sword and managed to kill almost everyone alone or in small pockets.

I used a LAM on Simons.
I kinda want to use an Assault Shotgun on him for the sheer irony of it. But Simons is pretty much the final 'Boss' as you don't get to really kill Page (Except for, I think, the illuminati ending)
Love the videos so far, this has always been far and above my favorite game.
BTW, Italax: (spoiler for later in the game, so don't read unless you've beaten it, other peoples)
Don't forget to save Jock, talk to Morpheus and kill Lucious DeBeers at Everett's place. I was so happy when I learned you could do that.
There's so much cool shit in there that nobody ever finds on their first few playthroughs.
Morpheus and Lucius are 2 of my favourite parts of the game. I like his fishtank too, just because it reminds me of trying to find the quadbike track in the Tomb Raider mansion >_>

Doesn't Jock
die when the helicopter blows up? Or can you actually save him from that fate?
Before you leave the mansion, you can talk to the mechanic on the roof. If you go back and talk to what's-his-face inside the mansion about his suspicious mechanic, he goes "I don't have a mechanic", the guy gets caught, and Jock finds the bomb before you take off.

There was a steam sig here. It's gone now.

Alternatively,
You can simply notice the dead body right in front of you on the roof, notice the mechanic acting suspiciously, and bypass the middle-man and execute the spy yourself. Personally, I used the explosive barrels. When you go to leave, Jock asks you (rather calmly, actually) why you killed the mechanic. Your response? "He acted a little fishy." Let those who stand against you know that no "fishy business" will be tolerated.
Also, something you might want to do later in the game:
After you finish the Ocean Lab part, Gary Savage comes with Jock to meet you. If you successfully rescued his daughter earlier, you will receive an Augmentation Upgrade canister and 500 skill points for your trouble. The interesting part is that, if you have a full inventory, the aug canister will drop on the ground and you will receive your skill points. You can repeat this process forever until you have maxed out augs and skills. After a while, the canisters start accumulating BEHIND the items your inventory.
You might not want to do that for the main game, but it might be fun to try going through the last part of the game that way as a side-project.
Well I didn't think you could PREVENT it. I was just like "oh well this is how the game was meant to be." That made me really depressed cause I really liked the dude...

Nope, Deus ex didnt have any of that railroading shit. Except with joining the NFS.
You can save pretty much everyone or kill pretty much everyone. You dont even have to fight Simons.

So I'm doing hdtp and Shifter.
I know hdtp is far from done. But man. I'm in NYC and all I've seen new so far is:
Gunter. Who is awesome.
The crowbar model is high poly and very shiny.
Strangely clean new crate textures.
Strangely clean new poison gas barrels.
Aaand that's it. Kind of a letdown.
Shifter is awesome. If only because the crowbar does more damage, and crates only take one hit from the start.
do people not save Jock? I mean the dead body of the real mechanic is right there.
Huh.
Way back when I played it, I found the body, talked to the mechanic, talked to the guy inside (but it was generic speech, nothing about the mechanic), killed the mechanic, told Jock he was acting fishy... and Jock STILL blew up. I assumed it was inevitable, but I guess my game just glitched.
I was more of a The Boss fight fan myself. Just because of how I ended up fighting her, I swear to god it took me a long time to believe that wasn't scripted. Fighting her straight up, CQC and I'm getting my ass kicked, then at about 5 minutes gone, the music kicks in. Something clicks and I start beating the crap out of her with barely any life left, it was so awesome.
I dunno, man. I have a save right before The End on extreme that I boot up anytime I want a thrill. When I try to play it in what I consider the 'right' way, it usually takes me 3-5 hours to beat him.

Aww - poor geppy
It no longer works here, but the one at http://sig.seiha.org does.
Oh, and since you asked: definitely Vision Enhancement, not Targeting Computer.

Yes, yes.
Out of all available videosites, Stage6 is the only one that refuses to work for me.
Two or three levels of Low-Tech.
Maxed out Combat Strength.
Once slice?
But seriously it was like the least dramatic showdown of all time.
But satisfying.

Totally didn't realize it, I was like, oh look, dead body. Oh well.
But I went back and redid it.
Huh.
I just finished recording. It went surprisingly well, although there was very little rampant murder.

It's more fun when you screw up, and/or activate like three mods and hack n slash your way through any resistance.
I didn't actually use Geppy or Wiggles for killing people
I did sing Snake Eater though.
