The visual dynamic...ness... with the word "fucked" is nice, but it draws attention away from the train.
I dropped in for a few games last night (aka DrFresh) and had a great time. My FPS experience stands at: Goldeneye, 800 hours of Halo 2 and now this game. It was fun playing on a good server.

My Steam folder is at 18.4 GB, and all I've got besides Orange Box is that one Sam and Max episode that was free and Geometry Wars. So yeah, OB is at least like 17 GB or so.
But you don't need to download all of it at once. You can just download TF2, I believe, for like 4 or 6 GB and start playing. But I'm not sure exactly how big just TF2 was.
Man I have the most rounded out fun with you guys, even though its a harder game. When I got to pugs it can really be hit or miss, I either get frustrated to hell with some of the shenangins I see, or I completely decimate the other team becuase they dont spy check/bother with any kind of tactics to counter me.
I watched the same 2 people track me while cloaked running around them on a bridge, in middle of cloak, didnt run into them, didnt get hit by anything. I run past them and they just turn around and wait on the bridge at 2 fort, I sweep back around to their front, and they track me that way, and I go behind them again, and they track me there. I unstealth thinking theyill be on their way because they cant see me/Im running out of stealth, and they just stare at me, and shoot me once im uncloaked. this happened between 2 people, total of 4 times.
When I play with you guys, I know if im not on my A game, im gonna get my ass handed to me, so generally i dont play spy becuase its largely based on just having a good streak on a pa server. I hear certain spys get talked about for how good they are, but just so you all know, you never talk about the good spies, becuase you never know they are there
I know this isn't very TF2 related, but it seems i get the fastest and most effective responses here. Do you guys know anything about 3dMark? I called EVGA about my recent video card problem, and twice they just told me to run that, and the third he told me to check my 12v output through BIOS.
I can post my score right now, if anyone needs to see the info to get an answer, but I NEED HELP. No one seems to ever give me a definite answer, and I just keep troubleshooting all of them with no results.
I have the Rocketfish 700w power supply. 4 12v lines, and i heard they were 14 amp each. GPU temp is around 54 idle stock without faster speeds to the fan. I just updated my bios and that seemed to give it about a 10-15 boost, so maybe i just need to upgrade driver again and get a better fan? Iuno give me suggestions cause it didn't make a huge difference.

Your PSU is plenty strong (I'm running an EVGA 8800GTS with a 600w or 650w PSU) but you may want to dedicate one line to your video card, if you aren't... As in, remove anything powered by a branch of the same rail your video card is on and put it on another rail.

Good call. I hadn't even thought of that, since I always build my systems with a dedicated rail for Vid. ;-)
Well if we're gonna compare steam folders, at least give us something to look at.
My full folder is 15 gigs, but I also have about a gig and a half on half life+mods. The mgower folder is a second account, but it's more or less never used, so I doubt it adds any size to the other folders.

I get some wacky errors like that occasionally...anybody know what causes it to do that? I figure I've got a connection issue or an overheating issue.
Apparently it can happen when you have a "network connection problem" and your connection goes back to normal. That's what Asiina said, and afterwards she was wandering aimlessly asking people what they were, then telling them what they look like.
Everybody looked like a scout with different weapons from what she kept saying, though it has variating effects sometimes.
I was having a color glitch yesterday while on blue team in dustbowl. Everything but my team's colors was red. The background colors for all the data on my screen, including my own character, was red, except the outfit was blue. So my own portrait was a blue medic with a red background. Even my ubers looked red to me, while appearing blue on my target. Slightly odd but a harmless glitch.

I tried messing with this last night, but that was before the driver and BIOS update. I'll go back tonight after work and plug it into one cable line that isn't using anything. Thanks for the advice, this might actually help.

My plans for tonight. Congeal in my desk chair with sars and be Ender's banana rider for easy points. All I need to do is choose medic and follow that guy wherever he goes and Ill have some fun. Dont have the effort in me to play a more hard working and higher effort class, like spy or something.

Haha ynow what we should do? I'll disguise as a pyro and you should uber me. Then we run right at them with all hell. As they run away with fear in ther eyes, we just run past them to the point.

7) Updated BIOS, this seemed for some reason to give me a slight advantage, so I updated my driver and went to work before i could check it out with the final driver.
Any more suggestions?

Is there a way for a sniper (in a non-legit way, maybe) to be scoped but moving at full speed? I'm not asking for a link or anything, just curious. I'm playing on a public server, and there's an enemy sniper who's leading the point by like 60 over everyone else... but he runs around the top of his fort and scores perfect headshots without ever stopping.

There's an aimbot out there. Someone linked to a youtube ad of it five pages back or so.
