He's still looking at the last chat thread. So, anyway in regards to his TF2 team:

They were, however, really good at defending it once it was out of there. That, and setting up defenses in our own base.

Edit: Oh man I totally screwed up my punctuation.

So there's this small reflection from my desk lamp on the wall (in Swedish they're called "sun cats").

When I look straight ahead it looks dark in the corner of my eye instead. Freaky.

I see our spleens piled five feet high.

"Crap. Alright, lets take it back out the sewer and through their base."

Can you imagine how great that would have been if I hadn't sapped their turrets?

There's something funky about human peripheral vision where there are huge blind spots and color issues and all kinds of stuff. I understand that it's mostly good for detecting motion and that's pretty much it. Apparently our brains try to sort out all the shortcomings in post-processing to get it to fit what we expect.

I wasn't doing it on purpose, it's just that he was the only one in the intel room and thought it couldn't be possible for a scout to get a turret.

How does a scout manage that? I basically suck hardcore as a scout, so that doesn't make any sense at all to me.

If it's not pointed directly at a doorway you can pop out, shoot it, and duck back behind it before it can turn all the way to shoot you.

I always play Engineer. The way to keep that from happening is to put the turret on the very back edge of the desk so that it can hit all three doorways if someone comes through one.
