I need something clarified for my business course.
I'm having trouble understanding the differences between Revenue, Operating Income, and Net Income.
I understand Revenue as being a total EBIT sum of earnings. Operating income as revenue minus the costs of running the company, and net income as the operating income minus all other expenses (taxes etc). Where am I going wrong here?

Op Income is just like you said: revenue less overhead.
Net income is REVENUE less expenses.
