Yep, looking for good songs to listen to during sex. Looking more on the mellow side.
Stuff I've got so far:
Van Morrison - Crazy Love
Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
David Grey - This Years Love
Mazzy Star - Fade in to You
Joshua Radin - Paperweight
Ben Kweller - Thriteen
Bad Company - She Brings Me Love
Angel and Airwaves - Breathe
Amos Lee - Arms of a Woman
Angel Tears
Zero 7
Verve Remixes
Massive Attack
The Cafe albums. Ex: Cafe Buddha, Cafe Nirvana. Collections of Lounge, these are generally very bass heavy and laid back.
Michael Franti's Songs From the Front Porch
Enigma
Blue Rodeo (If that's your thing, or you're Canadian)
Thievery Corporation
NIN is pretty decent for fucking, not for love making (but, really, I prefer the former to the latter).
That being said, look at Iron and Wine's new album, Shepherd's Dog, I believe is the title. It's generally mellow but it has a good rhythm to the voice compared to the older stuff.
I remember a particularly good session to Death Cab for Cutie's "Plans" album.
Let me second Massive Attack, Zero 7, and especially Thievery Corporation. That's my most commonly used sex music, and I don't really know anyone that actively dislikes their stuff.
Deftones- Digital Bath (a MUST-HAVE- I don't think there's better a better sex song, ever), their cover of No Ordinary Love is amazing as well, Rx Queen, Be Quiet and Drive, Pink Maggit, and Kimdracula are also songs by them I'd throw on the playlist
Massive Attack- already been said, I fully support the entire Mezzanine album- specifically, Angel, Risingson, Group Four, Inertia, and Dissolved Girl
Also,
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Boatmen's Call
Good sir, I respect your ability to retain an erection whilst listening to the lyrics 'the bones of our child crumble like chalk', but I must disagree with this choice of album. Into my arms and (Are you the) One I've been waiting for are good songs from it, but there are some that just need to stay away from the bedroom.
Dear God I just listened to a 30 second preview of Zero 7's In the waiting line on iTunes and I've got that feeling in my chest. You know what I'm talking about music lovers. Wow... so smooth...
And on that note, Sade. Obviously "No Ordinary Love" but there are others. She's pretty daaaamn smooth.
I recommend Zero 7's "Destiny". I saw Sia perform this in November at World Live Cafe, ahhh...quite magical. I would recommend Sia's "Breathe Me" but ...its kind of depressing. You have to decide on your own for that one.
Also, Marvin Gaye and Barry White as others have said. I had a particularly good moment with Mr. Gaye..

Let 'em eat fucking pineapples!
Well.... maybe not.

Lovage : Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By
I was going to say this. Teardrop is a good sex song.
My other suggestion would be something ambient and unintrusive but still kinda nice, like Boards of Canada
You might be surprised.
Also, pretty much anything by Sigur Ros, but the album () especially.
hitting hot metal with hammers
I applaud your ability to listen to music in those situations. I can't do it without busting out laughing.
Anjin-San wins the thread.
Massive Attack- already been said, I fully support the entire Mezzanine album- specifically, Angel, Risingson, Group Four, Inertia, and Dissolved Girl
Oh lawd
That was the greatest thing I have seen in a while.
Also, how about trying songs that aren't about love. Mix it up a bit.
Very sexy song.

I dunno, I think Portishead is a little too sad.
Also,
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Boatmen's Call
Primal Scream - shit, pretty much anything
Rockapella did a cover of this song that is pretty smooth.
Why aren't you asking this question to the person(s) you are planning on having sex with?

You're not listening to the right Portishead then.
