I guess I don't understand extremes with diet. If you love something, you should do it. If it's bad for you, do it less often. For instance, My brother really enjoys smoking, but realises it's bad for him and so only smokes like 2 cigarettes a day.
I don't like smoking, but I don't have a problem with him doing that at all.

My interest is mostly in the Middle East and Central Asia. My mom's convinced I'm going to get shot, but there's a lot of need for what I want to do and there are a lot of languages to study while you do it. Just to work in Barochistan I'd have to know about a half dozen languages to some degree. That intrigues me.
