Need Website for Keeping Track of All my Shit

I have a lot of shit.

Granted, I'm getting rid of a TON of it on eBay this weekend (watch my SIG for a link!), but I still would like to catalog it.

So, what's a good website for keeping track of generic shit I own?

What's wrong with a text document?

Yeah, sounds like a case for a text document, or, if you're feeling fancy, Excel. I prefer Excel whenever I need to keep track of large quantities of information.

And of course if you don't have Excel or specifically want a website so that you can access it online, I refer you to Google Documents which has a spreadsheet feature.

There's also the open-source variant of Word/Excel (Can't think of the names). I believe they're still compatible with Windows...

I use Notepad for 99% of what I do. Pretty much everything else is Excel, as I can categorize and such. I'm an obsessive-compulsive.

    Oh, found it: www.openoffice.org

I've never used it personally, but it looks pretty good.

    This is a sig.

It links to my website. The site is still under construction. And will be forever. And apparently it's dead for right now. I guess I'll have to talk to my admin one of these days...Also. Myspace.

    I fucking love Microsoft OneNote.

It's like a text file except faster, WAY more organized, and you can clip shit into it from any location just by dragging a box around something.

It'd probably be perfect for cataloging your shit. You can organize it in tiers.

    Notebook: My shit.
    Section: What Kind of Shit
    Tab: Further Narrowing of Shit-Category
Page: Specific item of Shit, or, listing of shit with links to individual Shit. You can narrow it further down on each page and have boxes of different shit.

You can just have an amazon page open, tap Windows-S to get the ctrl-c screen of glory up, and drag a box around the picture or description of your shit if you want descriptions or pictures.

Openoffice rocks imo. You can even save stuff in a office compatible format if you have to switch between programs. Although, it may take a little time to readjust, but for the most part things are where they would be in word, excel, etc.

OpenOffice is a great thing. I actually uninstalled Office because OpenOffice just ran so much freaking faster.

Can you elaborate on that? I've never heard of using Windows-S for anything. I read that it can do text to speech, but what you're talking about sounds like something I would use tonnes.
