probably easier/cheaper to get a new nunchuck, I have never heard of replacement sticks being available.

I doubt you could get a replacement stick, but you could totally buy a Classic controller and swap the worthless second stick on that out. Then you have a new stick on your nunchuk and a(nother) Classic controller.

The analog stick on the 'chuck is the same as the one on the Gamecube controller. Buy a used one and take them apart.

It's definately not exactly the same, are you certain that the difference is only cosmetic?

If it were me, I'd probably try to take it apart and put in an old Gamecube stick. Even if it doesn't fit or look perfect, whatever, as long as it works and costs less to replace than buying a new 'chuck.

Also, the Chucks are screwed together with the 3-notched screws, so phillips head and flathead screwdrivers won't work.

Gotta have one of those 3-sided drivers, and it's gotta be long and skinny to get down in there.

    edit: I think it's called "tri-wing"; as in, a "tri-wing screw driver"

edit2: Yep, the nunchucks use Tri-wing screws; so you'll need a long skinny tri-wing screwdriver

    edit3: or "tri-gram" apparently

Yes, they are exactly the same in the way they attach to the little analog module inside the controller. The only difference is that the Wii ones are a little bit taller than the Gamecube ones. I swapped the sticks on my Nunchuk and my Wavebird once.

The screwdriver you need can be purchased from this site for 95 cents: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1887

Their shipping is a bit slow, but it is free.
