Its called a "Womyn's center" because the word "Women" has the word "men" in it, and is thus a symbol of the oppressive patriarchy which is suppressing all women for its evil goals etc etc.
See, this is why I would be a good person to have in a Women's studies program. That, and also because I hate myself.

I think the people who created the facebook group were on some bullshit. You can't just smear someone like that, whatever information you may have. If you are aware of who the victim is, you should support her and encourage her to take her complaints to the official channels. L&C college handled the situation appropriately, by not flinching, allowing the victim to come forth when she was ready, and taking the charges just as seriously when she did. I even think Helen Hunter was perfectly justified in publishing her anonymous letter at the time that she didn't have the strength to make formal charges.
Morgan Shaw-Fox clearly crossed a line that he shouldn't have, Helen Hunter is brave for calling him on it, and punishment is required. The kangaroo court that indicted him is too much, though, and all those people gossiping and whispering and judging specific individuals when they don't even know how to properly spell "womyn" are also villains in my book. Their hysteria stigmatizes and disempowers the victim nearly as much as Morgan Shaw-Fox does.
So the people who created the facebook group should face punishment as well, and facebook should be more proactive in policing the content it allows.
That's my take on it.
