Just a suggestion but it might be nice to have selectable forum skins /colors under your user profile. This way you can look at the forum in any color scheme/skin you like. I don’t think it would take a lot to program in at all and would be just another level of customization for a user.
Don’t get me wrong I love the good old blue and gray but it might be a nice feature to add in.

Actually, some people who browse from work fool around with the CSS to make it look less forum-ey. Not sure how that works, but I figure anyone who really wants to could set their own look up with a little instruction.
