Though it already sounds like the project is getting a bit of a scope creep. 100 graphic and music artists does not make a game.

You need management, organization, deadlines, requirements, design documents, and way more coders.

We are all over the organisation and design docs and deadlines and whatnot.

If you're still looking for weapon or environment modelers I could probably boot gmax or 3ds max and make some to be exported to whichever program you use for export (I believe it's XSI 6 Mod Edition). It's been a while since I did this, but I'm sure I can pick it up.

    Here's an OLD portfolio website.

Shoot me up a pm if you still need this kind of work.

I think the numbers of people who've said "I'll help!" and the people that have actually done anything are drastically different.

That said, I don't know how to code anything, but I can provide weapon help for modelers, and play test anything that's ever finished.

    this sounds -really- sweet.

If you need anyone in the game to have a British accent, I'll more than happily oblige (plus I'm pretty good at voice acting)

If I'm recording some music with my brother on friday, I'll try and throw down some zombie groans and stuff too while I've got things set up. Could also try and come up with some sample text for voice-actors to recite for some kind of audition.

Well I can voice act, and I've got a Perception-200 and Protools, so I can get some crazy sound out of recording.

Also if we're looking for an original score, or if that's possible, I'm so damn in.

I can do some music if you guys need it. Just let me know what style you're going for. I've got a couple of solid programs and a bunch of instruments sitting around here.

    Also, voice acting as well.

While I have zero knowledge in modding, I wouldn't mind lending my voice for this if you've got room. I think I can pull off some fairly convincing zombie moans. Wouldn't mind trying a character too, depending on your cast list.

By the way. So far I've been doing all the textures and I have to say, this is bad. I am color blind.

What I'm saying is that we need a texture artist

I am by no means a texture artist, but I know my way around the 'shop pretty well. (Well enough to major in Graphic Design) So I'll give it a try as long as you can give me some strict guidelines.

Well, for instance: because of our lack of people willing to do texture art, this texture was done by one of our modellers, who's colour blind.
It still looks pretty good, but needs work. Want to add some wear, realism, whatever you think would look good?

Just a suggestion for something that could happen, but I thought a crashed train would be a cool area to have in the game. Make it so there's something in the Drivers Cabin you need and you have to go through this train that's crashed and full of corpses.

And have absolutely nothing happen. Just creepy sound effects, distant moans from other parts of the town and a creepy as hell vibe, but nothing actually happens. It seemed cool in my head at least.

Make the character spin his revolver on his finger constantly. The only time it stops spinning is when you need to shoot someone.

I think that's the best idea so far.

In addition to possible voice work (once I get a decent mic going), I'd like to take part in the writing, if there's a spot open. Maybe dialog, narration, concept scenarios? Where would I get access to that sort of thing?

    :D

Sound FX are dick because I got them off some free wav site, but it gets the message across.

Anyway, some stuff you can't see in the YouTube video. The gun fires, the hand flips back, goes back to almost regular position with some stuff happening. Thumb moves back and recocks the hammer. When the hammer recocks, the cylinder rotates to chamber the next round and the trigger (which really isnt visible, anyway) moves back into place. The thumb movement is actually a bit more complex than the video shows, but whatever.

    Very nice revolver.

But the effects really are ass. D:

Also: A real "cowboy" would probably be able to fire the gun faster, especially if he was throwing a shit because oh fuck zombies.

    Just my two pence.
