How in the world do I catch a Ditto in Diamond? I'm unsure as to how to use the poke radar, and my Wifi is down.
I don't remember the town names, but to to a patch of grass just to the right of town you get to Iron Island from, and use the Pokerader. Move to a twinkling patch of grass. Keep doing this until you hit a Ditto.

He's surprisingly sturdy despite having crappy Defense. Must be all the HP and the double status.
He was inspired by some PAer's old one, which he used way back when to harvest my Poke's entrails. Not saying who.
Hmm, after that somewhat shoddy performance from my Normal type, think I'll retreat back to the Top's warm embrace for the tourney. Normal has died very fast in every battle she's participated in. I'll figure out a better replacement before the next tourney.

Nah, bed soon. I can fight you tomorrow evening, though. I'm feeling pretty confident, since I defeated both RedMage and Ashton. In the past, they both destroyed me, so I'm feeling like I've got this down.
Oh, no problem then. I hope there is someone out there wanting to fight me soon, because I won't be battling on thursday, since it's my birthday, and I'll be too busy doing awesome stuff and eating diabetic cake.

A 20 sided die used in tabletop RPGs. My Dungeons and Dragons group came over for some Rock Band and a short one day long Star Wars Saga (think Dungeons and Dragons with lightsabers) hosted by me, so we decided to draw a d20 on it as part of our immense geekery.
It better be a chocolate cake with a single candle if you plan on having the word "Lie" on it. (And yes, my friends did inquire as to whether the cake actually existed before it showed up)
Oh, uh, so how bout them Pokeymans? Hear there's nearly 500 of 'em now.

Does it matter what day it is? Do the poke rade swarms change form day to day or week to week?
Hello folks, I just started getting interested in team building.
I've got a handful of dittos, I've done a bit of research.
Now I just need the actual PokeMon.
Unfortunately I can't trade through the GTS for these three:
torchic
ralts
swablu
Because I haven't seen them or their evolutions.
So I was wondering if I could get some help with that!
Is there really nobody that can help me with this? Are these pokemon that can be seen from trainers in the battle rooms or that mountain thing, or something?
I can help you with any of those, Campion.. once I'm home from work.
And yeah, Disco, that's how I got Teddiursa and a couple of other Pokemon. I hadn't seen Teddiursa but I did fight someone in the Resort Area with a Ursaring, which I then bred with a ditto for an egg. I do think you see a Kirlia (the second stage of Ralt's evo) at some point around there too.
Good battle X.
I don't know, it seemed like a good strategy. I would say that one possible problem is that it makes your next move a little more predictable. And I happened to have a good way of countering it.
It took a lot of time and effort to set up that fight. Don't know why we had all those problems.
The worst part is that I knew you were going to switch. Just like that time when I knew Blue was going to switch to Gardevoir and I exploded (Gardevoir is the name of one of his ghost types).

In my match against RedMageDarion yesterday, I had my Electrode out at 1 HP, and was pretty sure he had something that could take an Explosion, and then he just kept his little electric-type pokemon in and finished Electrode off after taking a weak attack.

Ah, didn't notice this at the bottom of your post at first. On my way.
How did I outspeed you? I gave her next to no Speed.
Did I win?
I think I won.
Rematch or does anyone else want to try?
On top of the fact that Magician was going to destroy his face.
But man... why didn't I have Inner Focus on him? Must be due to his IVs.
Hoho, that rhymes! Battle, anyone else?
Lesson of the day: If you U-Turn to a pokemon that has a choice item and ALSO knows U-Turn, you are stuck using U-Turn!
This is a close match indeed.
Imagine my surprise!
I do love U-Turn, but not really against steel-type pokemon, y'know?
You can't heal yourself forever! Sooner or later you'll run out of PP! I can outlive you!
Yeah, that's pretty much the plan
I'm tempted to just bring in the other. But I'm stubborn and wanna prove a point, damnit!

Thank you. Now please, either die or kill me. This is not ending!
Also, I don't think my guy is being affected by his status, probably due to his ability... Oh, nevermind.
Yes, an end to the battle, and a victory for me no less! I regret doing that to your guy now, but it did help me win. Good game.
I hate Haietlik with every fibre of my being.

Only took 10 months.
What's d20?

For example, he has never seen a Ralts. He could still trade for a Gardevoir (assuming he's seen one), and then breed it into a Ralts, though, right?

Edit: and he's gone. I'll still be here for a few hours though. Anyone else want to battle?
All these new old people haven't been introduced to the Incredible New Ground Gym have they?
Well here I am, Fear Me!

I just don't have the same poetic abilities as Munkus and Atrioc
NNID-InvisibleInk
Also I don't have any kind of fancy gym name like Munkus.

I think either Emerl or Rogar are running this one. Check the OP for a link to the post.
It's Canalave City, and you're getting confused. Fly there, go out to the right, and there's a patch of grass there. Use the Pokéradar, and you should encounter Ditto about 1/5 of the time.
The Pokéradar and Swarms are two different things. For swarms, go talk to the Professor's Assistant's Sister in Sandgem City, and she'll tell you that she heard that Pokémon type X is swarming on Route Whatever. The Pokéradar is an item that you use in tall grass, and the shaking grasses show you where Pokémon are. There's a different encounter table in each area for the Pokéradar, and the usual technique involves using Repels to stop wild Pokémon attacking, and chaining the Pokéradar Pokémon by beating or capturing one in the shaking grasses, then moving to a new patch of shaking grass to fight the next one. Afterwards, you need to charge it up by walking like the Versus Seeker. There are entire guides out there devoted to the Pokéradar, it's quite complex.
Oh, man, I don't want to have to go to Smogon or Serebii.
