Yeah, the 3vs3 are pretty bad. I'm sort of unavailable, because I'm trying to breed/train an interesting new team for you guys to steamroller at the tournament.
I should make a sneaky mixed-sweeper to piss on Skarmbliss too, maybe. I guess a Lucario would be fast enough.
The second guy you sent is the one that stands out as the most different one.
I think the game just made up for the fucking hax I have been going through against one of the panamian trainers. Fucking Haunter with focus sash and hits with Hypnosis all the fuckin time.
I am so, so sick of breeding Pokémon right now. -_-
At least I'm getting slightly better ones each generation, and then pushing them into the Day Care Center so they'll dance with each other until better ones wander along in eggs. Man, this is SOULCRUSHING.

It certainly is. Thats why I can't be bothered to make anything new. I forced myself to make 5 of my ground gym pokemon in only 2 weeks. It took about 2 weeks and 2 or 3 days.
It was... unpleasant. I had to make one sacrifice, Lucario has Inner Focus instead of Steadfast. Not much of a sacrifice, but a little disappointing.
It all turned out pretty well though!
I have 2 previously created pokemon that only need to be EV trained, but I feel that neither one would fit into my teams very well. But I swear I will make at least one new pokemon.
I spent AGES making sure my Lucario had Inner Focus. I had better IVs on some with Steadfast.
It doesn't matter much. But if you think about it. Steadfast will ensure that you are faster after being flinched, so it's almost as if you weren't flinched in the first place. Though with Inner Focus, theres no chance of them switching out in time.
Steadfast is probably better, but it doesn't matter that much.

Currently, teams must remain the same throughout the entire tournament. This also means that items must be kept the same. Be careful when discussing a battle not to release information about either team as to give equal opportunity to all participants. I'm up for changing this rule if majority agrees.
Just posting this so everyone can see who's entered so far, but I would really like to know what everyone thinks about the rule posted above.
I think teams should remain the same, but I think items and movesets should be allowed to change.
I seriously doubt anyone would change movesets so that doesn't matter either way, but changing around a held item might be useful, maybe.
So basically I don't think there's any reason to change the rules.

Yeah, it's a good idea. It lets you fix something that doesn't work- I wouldn't want to keep playing in a tournament if I messed something up and it became a liability.
Oh, and sign me up. What the hell, if I get stomped, at least I know how well my team works out and I get some experience at this sort of thing.

Damn you Palmer and your bastard Milotic being faster than my Leafeon for the first time ever even though I made absolutely sure that your Salac Berry had not activated because you had 50% your max HP!
Emerl RAGE!
Between making my new guy and going through the Tower once more for another item, I don't know if I'll be able to fight you tonight, Rockin.
I haven't been to the Battle Tower in ages. Mostly because some of the pokemon I want to use in it aren't level 50 yet. I generally only turn the game on now to do WiFi battles.

Rest assured I wrecked Palmer up something fierce as payback, and got what I needed from the Hax Tower. My Togekiss missed twice in a row with Air Slash, but enemies will always hit with stuff like Guillotine and Stone Edge without fail. I pray that I will never have to enter there again.
Just need to EV train my Newcomer and level it up some and then I'd be up for some fighting. I'll be ready by tomorrow afternoon/evening.
I want to get the bulk of my team finished by the weekend, so that I can test it out.

Oh yes, and I agree that changing movesets and items should be allowed. The main reason I asked for the Brick Break from RedMage was to give it to Scizor since my team would lack a Fighting move without it. But that all depends on my new guy; if it rocks, Brick Break stays. If he sucks, he gets the boot, Hitmontop would return (hopefully I figure out if New Guy sucks or not before the tourney lest I get stuck using a crappy Pokemon during the tourney), and Scizor would drop Brick Break.
The only bad thing about Scizor's moveset is that now she doesn't have a STAB move. And I'm not too sure about a few of my items either.

Once again, I stand before you all as a beggar. I've decided to bring back an old Pokemon that SirToasty would remember well, but it needs some tweaking since, quite honestly, it sucked.
What I need:
2 of each of the Beries that reduce HP, Attack, and Speed (2 so that I can make more of them faster)
A TM of Sleep Talk
So, what do I have to do to mooch off of the kindness of strangers yet again? :P

I can't even find the battle forum on Smogon
I'm doing some homework, but I can definitely spare a few minutes.
Meh. Good battle.
My team hates the guy you lead with.

I'm sure someone with Fire Red or Leaf Green would be kind enough to head on over to Celadon City and buy one for me. Hint hint.

I'll be glad to give you one.
Just gimme a junker pokemon.
I'm online, by the way.
Well, I'll at least give you a Pokemon with an Egg move or two.
Meet you online.
Thanks, and a female Charmander too. I can use it if I ever want to make a Charizard.

Kay, yeah I think Steadfast is better. Especially against pokemon with Fake Out. If I know that a Fake Out is coming, with Steadfast I can switch in, take limited damage because it resists normal and get a nice speed boost. Lucario should be faster than anything that isn't Choice Scarfed after one flinch.
With Inner Focus it's better to just switch to some other steel type/rock/ghost/high def/HP Pokémon who can take the hit better than Lucario and spare Lucario the damage.
I think Inner Focus is only useful against Togekiss. But I'm not sure I would even use it in that situation because Lucario is frail and Thunder Wave would really fuck it up.

Not really. I haven't seen any particularly new strategies around here, anyway.
PS: Someone should battle me.

Anyway my question is, is the USB dongle reliable? I mean does it drop or slow down the connection noticeably, or is it smooth sailing?

Crap, don't have a Heart Scale. Dusk Stone fine? And I'm online.
i don't have access to wifi until tomorrow.
Also, WiFi seems to be fighting back again. Not letting me back online.
