The Police have something other than Message in a Bottle?

Apparently, since there's 4 Police songs and Message in a Bottle is mysteriously not found.

Which baffles me, since I'm almost certain The Police had Rock Band in mind when they wrote the song.

Speaking of the police... *buys the song pack*

Message in a Bottle was in GH2. I think they'll be waiting a bit before they recycle songs they used in earlier games.

    like War Pigs? :P

I kinda hope not. There are a bunch of old songs that would be great to drum or sing to, or simply be a blast to do in a group. Just because they were in previous games, they shouldn't just deny them. Sprode from the OXM disc gives me a little hope, but that was all the way back in Amplitude, so who knows really.

I'd kill for some of the better songs from the Guitar Hero games to be released for Rock Band. Going through a list of every song in the first two games, I'd potentially buy (depending on how good the non-guitar parts are, I don't really know):

    Iron Man
    More Than a Feeling
    Take Me Out
    Killer Queen
    Ziggy Stardust
    Spanish Castle Magic
    Crossroads
    Godzilla
    Bark at the Moon
    Cheat on the Church
    Behind the Mask
    Even Rats
    Get Ready 2 Rokk
    Mother
    Surrender
    Message in a Bottle
    Carry on Wayward Son
    Monkey Wrench
    Them Bones
    Sweet Child of Mine
    Crazy on You
Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart
    Hangar 18
    Free Bird
    Less Talk More Rokk

(Bold: Songs that I would kill a man for)

I don't remember the other bonus songs in GH2 very well, but I'd buy some of those too. I left out the songs with no vocals because, I don't know if they would put them in there?

Can't you use the internal rubber band method for now as a quick fix?

EDIT: Also, maybe you should take the broken spring out so we can possibly match it with an identical/superior replacement.

I still can't believe Heckendorn didn't bother to mention what kind of spring to replace it with.

You can return the entire package to the store you bought it from, but if you want to return an individual component (i.e., just the disc) you need to do the EA thing.

I can't describe how disappointed I was in the Stellar cover -- Incubus is one of my favorite bands, and I wept tears of blood.

Drive would almost assuredly be in the pack. I forget the pack I initially dreamed about but I think it was Privilege, Idiot Box and Dig, though now that I think about it I'd love to see Sick Sad Little World if only for that absurdly great Mike Einziger solo and Deep Inside just because it'd be hilarious at parties.

Even rats, i'd have to say, was my favorite song out of any Guitar Hero or Rock Band. It is simply chilling to play, and gives you goosebumps during the middle/end.

Gosh, if they implemented that song into Rock Band, i'd pay $5 just for that one song.

Also: Incubus sucks. They were ok before when they did a bunch of mushrooms and experimented, but they are just lame now.

A friend and I were discussing this last night, and came to the conclusion that RB needs to counter GH3's use of Dragonforce with some Nightwish.

Nightwish, for those who don't know, is one of the best epic/gothic metal bands out there. Their original lead singer was a classically trained opera singer (there's a term for woman opera singer, but I don't remember it right now. Operaette?) and they've got absolutely amazing drums and guitars. Their songs also usually clock in at somewhere around 5-7 minutes, too...

    no u

Although I agree 100 percent about Even Rats. The Tribe song (I'm terrible, I don't know any of the names of the new bonus songs) gave me a somewhat similar vibe, but it's just not the same. If Harmonix can corral all the original bonus tunes from GH1 and 2 I'd love to play Even Rats, Cheat on the Church, Story of My Love and Gemini even though it's an instrumental.

I can get behind this right here.

Nevermore would be pretty sweet too. Warrell Dane of Nevermore happens to be classically trained as an opera singer as well. And Jeff Loomis is an insane guitarist.

I think Bush should be in Rock Band regardless of what song. Little Things is an awesome choice but anything off Sixteen Stone will be welcome as well as some of their newer stuff like Chemicals Between us and Mouth. Maybe even Swallowed. I didn't listen to them too much past Sixteen Stone. :|

Id rather get some more awesome bands.... Muse, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Soundgarden, RATM, Audioslave (the first album), AC/DC, etc.

Ten Speed comes out on the 29th (in a Progressive Pack as well as stand alone) on Xbox Live. All DLC for the PS3 comes out on Thursdays, meaning the song will be out for PS3s on the 31st.

The only songs that have come out on OXM are three songs by Bang Camaro, Freezepop and Count Zero. It's possible others songs might be given to OXM exclusively, but I doubt anything real significant is going to be put onto OXM's demo discs. Most major DLC will surely come out normally.
