Burnout 3: Takedown -- EA Servers Back Up

Since Burnout 3: Takedown is now an Xbox Live Original available for download on the 360, one of my buddies checked to see if the original Xbox disc version can connect for online play.

Some of you may remember that Burnout 3 on the Xbox was one of the games EA pulled online support for awhile back. It appears that with the advent of the 360 version, the original Xbox disc version owners, can also connect for online play.

    I don't see the activity lasting more than a week. Once Paradise ships it will probably revert back to an empty wasteland.

    I'm trying to get some Burnout Revenge action going before it dies. Looks like EA's server just died.

    edit - not EA, my fucking xbox froze.

    If EA would just quit being assholes about it and let Microsoft do it's thing with live, we wouldn't have to worry about servers being down.

    But then you might continue to play old games rather than buy new ones, and that's just not right!
