Just figured I'd ressurect this thread to hopefully get some updates or something. Also to ask if the Omegathon Final Round is going to be on it with the Minibosses kickass rendition.
Will we MAYBE get this DVD soon? Soon being within the next month or so (March-April). I'm sorry for all the questions, but I've been dying for this DVD since I left PAX last year.

Also hoping there will be updates soon. I keep telling myself "I need to bring equipment and cover PAX 08 and upload to Youtube! Must share awesomeness with others!" Only thoughts of the DVD release brings me back down from that.

Any production company worth their salt will record redundantly: let the camera record to tape (because you get that for free) but also take video output from the camera and run that into a recorder. (I have under $2k of equipment and even I do that.) We KNOW they were getting video on a cable out of the camera because the boom operator had a screen to watch down at his level. It seems silly to think they wouldn't be running that same feed into a separate recording device, just in case.
So don't worry. :-)

Are the recorders for this year's concerts going to use X13-Type B awesomeness focus and reduction filters for the cameras? I'd hate to see the equipment dissolve when Coulton starts singing Still Alive. I'd also like to recommend they only have 1 screen in the theater. Overdoses of UBER can lead to excessive WOOTing and hallucinations of PWNGE

I've cleared my weekend of May 24th for a marathon viewing of this DVD
I can't wait to watch this. Although it will make me sad at not being able to make this year's PAX. Oh well, I couldn't explain to my fiance that we couldn't go on our honeymoon because I want to go to PAX
