360 failing at MTU

when i connect my 360 into the wall (on campus) i wont connect to xbox live because it stalls at "MTU" my computer works fine with blazing fast internet, i used 2 different cords, and in my previous room i didnt have to do anything to get it to work with the network...

    MTU = Maximum Transmission Unit

    The 360 requires a minimum MTU setting of 1364. This is a setting that must be set at the router or gateway level. Unless you can get into the router to change that or get campus networking to change that, you may be out of luck.

    Many campuses require special access or setup on your port before online consoles will work. Check with your IT department. I know at ASU you had to give them your console's information and then they'd change your port settings to accomodate it.
