To save you all from a long read I'll cut straight to the point; I'm working on a research project of sorts that has a lot to do with traditional pastimes and games played by the different people of the world.

My goal is to not only expose people to new and hopefully interesting games but also to help better illustrate the origins of modern sports, pastimes, and gaming in general.

There's much more to it than what I'm relating but right now, first things first and this is where I need YOUR help as members of the gaming community.
I need those of you, who are willing, to send me titles with a brief description of the pastime/sport. It doesn't matter if it's a sport, a card game, board game, yard game, a game you play at a pub, etc. The key thing I'm looking for is a semi-traceable country or culture of origin.
By brief I mean very brief, there's no need for you to elaborate past sentence one if you don't want to. After all this is a research project and half the fun for me is digging up the info.

For example;
Sepak Takraw is a game like volley ball but it's played with your feet, like soccer.

For any and all suggestions please write to learn2play.project@gmail.com

I will of course be crediting those who submit suggestions because one of the points I really want to spotlight for those reading the finished project is the true sense of community gamers have.
