So DI people, I'm starting up a new kara a couple of weeks from now hopefully. I think I've got tanks sorted, and a token ret pally to put out some sub par dps (<3) but I need to fill it out a bunch. Theres a thread in the CTS dojo section of the PAA forums, so post there if you're interested in going, I'd like to have a semi-static group for the most part instead of finding 5 random mouthbreathers every week to distribute phat epix to.
Depending on if I get institutionalized this weekend, I should have my Shaman ready to go in 'a couple of weeks'

I know it can be hard to slot in Shaman healers for Kara runs since you want Shackles and Cleanses but pshhhh

I'll be able to do Kara on weekends now, which means I can get on the ZA runs that are usually being done at the same time. Sweet!

Shackles are overrated. Real Men tank Moroes + his adds, and the DPS picks them off. And chain heal is badass for that. And Maiden. And Curator. And Grounding Totem > Maiden.

edit: ZA? If your tanks are not fast enough, you will get eaten by a Bear. One of the better ways to die, if you ask me.

And yeah, it won't start next week since I'll be home for spring break, or the week after that because the prot pally at least will still have shitty gear after being on his spring break, so you've got about 3 weeks to work stuff out, and I have a feeling that some more healers will probably be necessary.

I think that ended up breaking Leviticus (the guild that booted me). Since I was the guy that made up their strategies, and I didn't bother explaining out the ones that didn't involve the warrior BS strat.

I can only imagine now them wiping on Nefarian after listening to the not-raid-leader poorly explain the fight for 45 minutes.

Pillow forts don't need zip codes. Their fluffyness can exist anywhere.

...94720 - cleanse with fire! (Seriously, it needs to be.)

P.S.: ZA isn't bad if you have the right group with good gear. I wouldn't worry about timed loots unless you're going in with an experienced group.

That patch planted the seeds of the Paladin AoE tank for us. We used the warrior cheese strat but switched over to Paladins consecrating with RF on and holding them long enough for AoE to burn them down. It worked pretty well.

Mother: Don't make SR gear until before the raid you're going to attack her. (Actually, maybe before the RoS raid)(Not right before, you don't want to waste time, but, like an hour before). If you make it and get no shows, that's a good way to call the raid at her.

It's an idiot and SR check. If your MT is a tauren have him drink a Noggenfrogger or Deviate Delight so he can actually share the Saber Lash damage

RoS: Just have to repeat and learn the fight. P2 Burn. P3 Burn Harder. It's a simple fight if broken down into phases, so, if you get to P3, make sure you're ready to get that kill then, since it's very possible.

Tip: Omen means nothing in RoS phase 3. Do not trust its lies!

Shahraz is silly easy once people l2run. Vent helps. We started with the three camps strat but now we do one and it works fine for 99% of the FA's.

hum well 3 weeks let's see

I did 38-43 last night, but I had some rested going into that, I wager I'll only do 2.5 levels each day until I hit 50 on the weekend

60-70 in Outland is a week and a half tops, so

yeah assuming I don't get institutionalized I can definitely be ready for Kara in about 3 weeks so let's hope I can outsmart the doctors

One camp is better, just have to have the raid ready to move

Does your omen just display the wrong aggro?

FD is terrifying now. I alomst make sure I wait 2 feigns before I believe I dropped aggro, if not someone is out to get me (That someone being the monster we're killing (And then the group/raid leader))

RoS is fairly easy. If you have enough DPS you should be able to burn P1 with only needing 1 person to tank an enrage (usually Rogues evasion tank it), P2 is simple as long as you have 2 people who aren't retarded about interrupting Spirit Shock, and P3 you just wait the initial 10secs for Seethe to wear off then start DPS ... don't burn full-bore until he gets to like 50% tho as he takes more dmg the longer you hold out against him in P3.

Mother can be easy or extremely frustrating. If you have people who are retarded about running in opposite directions, you will wipe a lot. Only good thing is you can leash her very easily. Hopefully you have enough Hearts to give everyone at least 300 buffed SR.
