Custom time/date formats

I just tried modifying the timestamp format in my profile to my liking and it seems to be working like expected, with the exception of timestamps from 'Today' or 'Yesterday' which are unaffected. Since most posts I read obviously are recent it seems I'm stuck with the 12-hour clock.

Bug?
