Yes. The stage, of course, is awesome, but the music. THE MUSIC. After listening, I hit play AGAIN and scrolled up to the top of the page to read the update WITH the music playing in the background. Glorious!
Sonic must go through this stage in Adventure Mode.
And then Mario has to go through Green Hill Zone
And then they totally team up to fight Bowser and Robotnik

Somewhere, Sakurai is patiently constructing scenarios and running them by focus groups en masse, waiting to hit on that perfect balance of gameplay and fanservice.
That's why the game keeps getting delayed - he will not be satisfied until he creates a setpiece that is wonderful enough to make a playtester's head explode.
It would appear a certain stage that only Fox can play on has returned.

It's not as upbeat. I think the implication is this is one of Bowsers old outposts and it's been abandoned for a long time rather than post apocalyptic.

Huh. I bet you won't be able to change the My Music selections depending on which stage loads up. You could get the underground music when 1-1 loads, or the above ground music when 1-2 loads...
It's all brown... but it's a great stage update. I was hoping that this kind of stage would be in the game, but I always thought that it would be in Adventure mode. Quite an interesting update.
Of course, I think there was a possibility of taking Smash Bros. in a more casual-gaming direction. For example, we could make the art style simpler or make it possible to use Miis.

Seriously though, this new stage is an amazing design, and the music's equally awesome. Never thought I'd see that take on the Mushroom Kingdom...
I honestly think they've done so much for Brawl, but I will die of happiness if they include some Paper Mario love.
A character would be awesome, as would a stage, but I'd settle for an assist trophy. Anything, Sakurai, throw me a bone here.
You know I didn't even think about a Sonic stage. I would rather a Chemical Plant Zone or a Scrap Brain themed stage, personally =P
