It is a complete gear check, and I hate gear checks. It's not a reward for the talent of your raid, but to reward you for doing other content.
We'll do the eagle boss next time. I'm not going to go near the bear boss until we have a tank with a shitton of HP for the bleeds.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
True, the Female BE 1-Hand special is pretty neat. I really like the 'Thuginess' of how an Orc in stealth looks. By the way, which animation does ambush use?
That .gif doesn't do justice to the funny, really. One of our rogues has whatever engineering thingie it is that changes your race, and every so often he'll come to raid as a tauren. Seeing a barely-transparent male tauren tiptoeing around with our other (human) rogue is great.

There is indeed a change in 2.4 intended to offset some of the mana regen from drinking away from the very beginning of the duration.
However, we specifically made sure the water would not change the amount of mana regenerated by players who drink between pulls or during gauntlet runs. You should see little to no difference in the amount of mana yielded if you sit to drink for at least 6 seconds, which most players do.
Eagle is mostly just an idiot check. Hey! Stand under the dude! Not hard!
Having too much melee can seriously dick you on that fight, though.
I'm about 5 pages late here, but learn2haveeveryoneclumpuponthetankinthemiddleoftheplatform. Melee should never have to move. All range collapse on the melee about 10 seconds before he casts the lightning storm debuff.
But collapse too soon, and he fires off Static Disruption that hits everybody in the raid. Still, that fight went from wipefest to oneshot once we got everybody knowing where they're supposed to stand and when they're supposed to move. If you get past the first and second storms without anyone dying, you'll probably finish the fight with a win.
@Thomamelas: we killed Kael tonight with little problems. Had a few "rust" wipes and then had a 51% wipe and then killed him the next attempt. Burnt through the shield every time, never got a second pyroblast.

We also only took 5 healers, which was nice.
Yeah if you can get to 50% then you pretty much have the fight.
So if i were to start up a 2nd account, and used the recruit a friend feature, to receive a free month on my active account. Could I then transfer a character from my main account to that second account, or does it flag as a "friend' account or whatever, in regards to my primary account?

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.
Im betting you'd have to pay for a month on your original account to be able to transfer off of it, otherwise Scroll of REsurection would become Scroll of Ebayed Characters.

Oh man, why didn't I roll an Orc Rogue instead of Blood Elf.
They look so good.
(Male) Orc rogues are as sweet as Gnome warriors.
So awesome.

I'm just curious as to how far with these Arena seasons that Blizzard will go, because the resilience issue is getting goddamned out of hand. They say that they have 'no plans to remove it' which I can understand because doing so would be admitting that its inclusion was a huge mistake in the first place, but still, something needs to be done to offset it.
The thing about arena games that people don't seem to clue in on is that your team's success is based on two things:
1. The class makeup of the team
2. The skill of its weakest player
I've got three teams going, two 2v2s (one rogue/rogue and the other pal/war) and one 3v3 (war, sham, rogue) and the only one not hemorraging points weekly is my pal/war, but even that one can't manage to pull more than six wins per week. It's ridiculous. We've got a druid in the guild with 400+ resilience who, according to him, considers rogues "stunning nuisances, but never a threat" because their crits do LESS damage then their auto-attacks. Jesus christ.
Arena season 4 will drop about 3-6 weeks after Patch 2.4 goes live (so figure ~3 months from now?)
There have been plenty of hints in the forums and players are already stockpiling their arena points for season 4 gear and honor for season 2 welfare epix.... yay us.
To the poster above me: Arena season 3 was a failure. Smurf teams and team sellers have destroyed the brackets (especially on bloodlust) as teams intentionally crash to 1100 just to take an easy path to 1850. Blizzard realized this too late and has practically given up on fixing season 3 as they have a lot on their plates atm with 2 games, a patch, and an expansion all being worked on.
I hope some of the flaws in season 3 are addressed in season 4. A life time personal cross-team rating would work wonders for stopping these fucking gladiator/client teams from fucking up my day. Also, blizzard needs to address queue times... though i think removing sellers would cut them in half.
Last night, on my ALT (70 mage kara gear) with 1550 rating i ran into an ungodly hunter/druid/client (gladiator) team with a client shaman (crap gear) that cut us to pieces. I remember putting the keyboard down, blinking a few times and asking myself wtf the point was anymore.
I can understand hitting druid/warrior/client gladiators or warlock/paladin/client, but this was just uncalled for. I didnt even know there were hunter gladiator teams on my battlegroup... but running into them in the 1500s and being demolished after a 9 minute queue did it for me... why? why do i even bother?
I have utterly no patience for 2v2 queues (4 minutes is fine, but they're rare. 11 minutes or more? Fuck no). 3v3 are pretty instant, but I'm getting tired of struggling just to break even in the mid 1600's, as I run into similar teams.
No, no, fuck YOU Gladiator team with a 1200 rating.
Beating them earns you like 6 or 8 points, losing to them costs you like 15-18+.
Fuck that.

It took me at least 11 months to get 8/8 t2 back in the original game. >.>
Of course, we stopped running BWL, so half that was just sitting without the gloves.
correct but then again tier sets are only fourpiece now not eight piece.
best change they ever made
They look so good.

Night elf male was a fucking horrible affliction. I don't know how anyone can possibly play those stupid, ugly fucks.
Draenei female as a rogue was pretty cool, though~
There's some guy on my realm who stealths around durotar as a Tauren and it's super cool.

that is some serious account sorcery there
you could maybe just make a character on the same account maybe
(you'd have to buy a copy of the game after the trial ran out so there wouldn't be much point)
So awful.
I finally got my epic flying mount this past weekend, and discovered that the Booterang is the most awesome and hilarious thing ever.
ARGH! BOOTERANG!
Grats roboface! Wish I coulda been there.
Perhaps not, but am I wrong, or is my logic faulty?
Never said you were :P

That would be too simple.
Besides, we already had defense.
I'll just FD for no reason to hear the squicky toy death noise

Dont get me started on rogues....
quick funny sidenote... on my mage i stacked spell pen/spell crit talasites cause i was told it works against resilience
ya, that didnt work out too well
spell pen + arena = lawl
err, client... as in the useless piece of garbage who paid 2000+gold to get his arena points and season 3 weapon
