Yep. That is the absolute worst part of arenas. I don't mind that my alt's 5v5 is horrible, we all have dungeon blues and crafted gear and a few Kara epics, maybe five pieces of gear with resilience between us. But we got up to almost 1600 after a few games purely based on experience and bravado and it was amusing and fun. But then we kept coming up against teams with mysterious 1500-bracket s3 shoulders who raped us for 20 points a game. It's so stupid how people can crash teams just to fuck with the lower brackets or sell spots to rank up some scrub who can't do it on his own.
I think my only problem with Arena is finding partners who will actually honor grind out the gear they need for arena. I'm happy with dedicating my entire existence to arena, but I have trouble finding people who will go once a fucking week for ten games.

I never see anyone from PAA in BGs anymore, and I think I saw like a Fancy Lad in an Arena once. You guys should stop having anonymous sex and start BGing so I don't get bored out of my mind afking by a flag.

While I agree with your assessment, the queue times can get out of control and make for too much downtime for me to consider playing more than 10 games.
See, what I like the most about the arenas is that it provides the purest PvP experience: no bullshit objectives like capture the flag or guard the node or tickle the goat's coinpurse. Give me an instanced battleground where the goal is simply "Kill more of the opposing team than they can in a given time limit" and I'd probably live there (at least after I'm done with the PvE content).

So I'm hearing that MMO-champion posted some new gear that was originally thought to be obtained through badges but we're being told it was 'misinterpreted as badges and was meant to be tokens'. What's the story?
MMO-Champion has started to have a serious problem with making misinformed posts presented as fact and then all this nonsense gets spread around. First it was the way they would paraphrase blue posts but color them blue so people would think they were direct quotes from Drysc or whatever, while in reality the paraphrase might have been totally off. Now they post anything someone sends them from PTR data-mining and such and just seem to take a wild guess as what it is or where it's from. They need to stop guessing and just post screenshots with "more details to come" or whatever.
First time I've seen a boss enrage, actually. Totally getting him this try -- we lost a high-DPS rogue to a triple mindblast gank from the banishers at the start, that cost us some precious DPS and a battleres.

Then you pretty much have him. It sounds like you guys were making sure to stay out of his way if you took it to the enrage timer.

This try we had him down to 65% in two minutes, but the MT died for reasons unknown and we had to reset.
You're better off going for more steady DPS all of the way through then trying to burst him down at the end. You're much more likely to get people panicking and over dpsing then.
Honestly, I'm somewhat clueless about non-direct buffs other classes can give. I knew shamans did something with AP but not the details.
I have no idea what casters do for eachother. I think Spriests are good for Locks and maybe Arcane mages are good for others? It's fine not knowing everything it was mostly your

I tend to PvP a lot on Sckooter and Phender. I'm trying to replace as much gear as possible with S1 stuff for Phen before the expansion hits.

Now he has 45% crit, 3200 AP and 1k+ agility raidbuffed.
You're better off going for more steady DPS all of the way through then trying to burst him down at the end. You're much more likely to get people panicking and over dpsing then.

I've had 45 crit and 1k agility as Surv, but 3200 AP seems like trinkets procced
Ranged Attack Power isn't affected.
