So, my boss is driving me nuts with talk of this TV show he said he watched at some point in his past. I don't believe there was ever such a show as he's describing. We are both from the UK but none of our American colleagues know what he's talking about. This is the info I've managed to glean so far
(1) It was possibly mid 80s to late 90s
(2) It was about a guy who lived his life through TV flashbacks
(3) It supposedly had some mild adult content
(4) It was a US sitcom
Now, I say there was never a show like this. PA'ers, can you shed light on any of this? I have googled every combination of words I can to find out about this show
EDIT - he swears it wasn't Quantum Leap (which is the closest thing I can think of)

I don't recall it ever being shown in England however, so I don't know how he managed to see it
Meh - Wiki says it was shown on UK Satellite TV, so this could be solved... Thanks a lot! Now I gotta eat the humble pie (yum!)
