    What's up with that?

Death Cam ala Max Payne. I got one when I threw a guy into a TIE bomber and he ricocheted into a TIE fighter. Usually happens with the last guy in the room if the game thinks you did something cool.

Force push those guys in the hallway after the hangar and they barrel into a huge stack of exploding containers at the far end for major win.

He looks much younger and different in SC4 even then.

I can't find a shot of the actual character model in TFU, but that would show the difference much clearer.

The apprentice changes age during the game. The model used in SC4 is one given to them by Lucasarts and tarted up a bit for the soul calibur lighting system and animation rig.

Aw I just figured this out and came to tell everyone. Oh well. The jump jump dash thing works just fine. This is my second playthrough and I'm having some fun this time. If you have someone in the air, spin the left thumbstick around it circles, then just spin them both like crazy. It's pretty awesome cause your scrambling up some brains.

The demo is what I expected, only things I didnt like was the fact you cant block while on the move, and the Force Grab seemed a little awkward. Maybe with further play it feels more natural and fluid, as it is now I cant really see myself using it mid-fight when I'm getting hit by 5 billion lasers.

hahahaha I walked into a rebels vs Storm Troopers conflict and started attacking the rebels first, I killed most of them and force lifted one only to see the stormtroopers shoot at the republic soldier under the impression I was on their side.

liked the demo, looks like it will take a while to master the controls. For instance, am I the only one that thought it took an ungodly amount of time to force grip an object, steady it and get it lined up to throw at something. And that's assuming the trooper wasn't running or something. It just seemed so awkward.

I thought most jedi channeled the force internally, to improve their combat movements, their fighting prescience, their ability to dodge. They're doing all this while they're force pushing or whatever. Could almost think of it as they don't have enough attention to devote to pushing with the force because they're also multitasking.

Whereas this guy doesn't look like he's had much formal training. Vader probably still uses some of that way just to move around without shortcircuiting. This guy can barely block and swings his lightsaber like a baseball bat. I have to say, it actually makes perfect sense that he can do what he does if he never fixes those gaps fully. He's pure outward force use.

He's naturally strong with the Force, and Vader has conditioned him to basically be a weapon that can think. He's been pushed to his limit without mercy his whole life. Also, the whole thing is ramped up for the game anyway, so if this were a movie he wouldn't be so absurdly powerful.

Two of my favorite things to do:

Use the right thumbstick to get someone cartwheeling rapidly before throwing them with the left thumbstick
    and
Just piledriving troopers with the right stick.

I do hope melee gets a bit spicier in the full game, though. those troopers with the stun batons just won't do.

Damn, bottom paged. Anyway, hold down B until the screen goes B&W and your force ball-thing sparks. Release B and the force is freaking unleashed.

Really, I don't really get why people are so pissed about no dismemberment. It'd be impossible to do it in this game and keep the T rating. Anything higher and the game would bomb in sales. Remember, full dismemberment in JK2 was only accessible through console commands, and the ESRB wasn't really strict with PC games then.

The game does have autoaim. You can hit troopers fairly easily if you just pick the thing up about ten feet off the ground and toss it in their general direction.

If fact if you watch the object, it will home in, curving into the target.

EDIT: I bet it's been mentioned, but if you stand in front of a living trooper that's laying on the ground, you can give him a coup de grace with the X button.
