So plenty of sales are going on this week, and combining that with the idea of (hopefully) generous tax returns in the future, I started looking at some TVs. My budget is around the $500-700 range, and I'm looking for possibly a 32" to 37", although 37" may be too heavy/big for the space I have available. I do plan on hooking it to my computer, so PC compatibility is a must. It also needs a decent refresh rate to keep me from throwing a fit while playing games. I'm not too concerned with whether it is HD ready/built-in/etc, although it couldn't hurt, and there's no need for a built-in DVD player, since I'll have something hooked up for it.
I've narrowed down a couple choices to decide between, so any feedback from experience is appreciated. Or if someone has another model in mind that fits my needs, please share.
The one I have my eye on is the
Magnavox 37MF337B_37. Although it is 37" (and a nice 69lbs, I'll end up having to buy a mount or stand for that), Target currently has it on sale for $648 (down from $899.99), and factoring in my various discounts I can get it for about $560. After reading several reviews on Amazon, Target.com, and BestBuy.com, the general consensus is that it's a good quality buy. We owned a Magnavox TV for a good few years and it worked pretty well, so they have a good track record with me. But like I said, any experiences I want to hear about, especially negative ones.

A few others I considered are the
Magnavox 32MF337B_27 and
Westinghouse SK-32H240S. I've had a Westinghouse monitor before, and it was good quality so that's another brand I would trust.
Anyway, any kind of advice, feedback, whatever, would be appreciated. This will be the first TV I buy for myself, so I want to make sure it gets done right.
