So last night I tanked SM Library on my pally. It was way super awesome good times. My first tanking experience (RFK) was fouled by a priest healer who kept bubbling me (after being told not to), a ret pally DPS who ran around with RF up all the time, a hunter who would go off and pull the next group while we were drinking (or trying to rez the dumbass who fell off the bridge, and then the dumbass who fell off trying to rez him) and then cry when I let him die, and the whole damn group ignoring kill orders. Oh, and everyone crying when I gave them salv instead of kings because of all the above.
So, yeah, first tanking job was a headache. Second was radawesome.
RFK brings out the shittiest groups (Probably because all the mobs there are pansies). Nothing like watching a shaman OT his way to most damage taken, and a rogue take so long to get to fights that they're welllll below the tank
Hope: Lick King talents aren't too terribly far away. I really want to see what they come up with this time around.
Setting aside the Freudian Slip, I'm rather curious too. For some of the classes the req-50 talents are going to have to be borderline gamebreaking to be better than some the possible builds from just having 10 more points with the current tree. Unless they 'cheat' and move some of the talents around again.
And the wheel goes 'round.
If by that you mean they went through the same thing with TBC? Duh That doesn't change the fact that I want to see what they can do.

I was specifically addressing the worry that everyone had before TBC, about this or that 30/31 build being OMG overpowered, and I remember very little rearranging of old talent positions when TBC was released, and those 30/31 talent builds did not become overpowered. I'm not worried about this problem in WoTLK.
I'm almost positive it was you! We had this exact conversation! About how 30/41 would be awesome, and linking to talent builds, and someone (I could swear it was you) was all "Look, we had this same discussion at TBC's release, they'll shift talents, just... just stop".
But I could be wrong. Either way, if the hobo knife is away, I appear to be safe for now.

I like raiding. I actually found it fun pre-BC and like going now. I am getting pretty frustrated lately with the inability to do much.
One week, we clear SSC on one day, and plan on getting Vashj down on at least one of the other two days we raid. Friday night, we go in, and the server explodes in downtime. Sunday, we (and by "we" I mean the rest of my guild since I don;t raid on Sundays) get her to phase three once, but don;t actually get her.
Then, for the next few weeks, attendance is horrible. We can't even clear SSC (we have done all of TK except kael, but decided to focus on Vashj for the next little while.)
Raids are cancelled due to attendance. One of our main tanks has to leave early most night, so we have to leave, say, Hydross up since we don't have another tank geared properly.
Plus, I can't even do kara or ZA anymore since the guild only has a couple tanks, and they run on days I can't go ><
Of course, doing heroics and saving a million badges is pretty nice. I go on enough guild runs that most are easy enough. Last night I went to heroic BM. I used to hatehatehate even regular BM because I;d be on add duty, and it'd be hard. Now, I find it easy enough and hope I can get exalted soon.

Daylight Savings Time screwed with us a bit as well. We were supposed to get everything up to Mother done on Sunday. Instead, we were short on everything, postponed the raid until 9 (we usually start at 8) and due to Bloodboil shenanigans, didn't even get to our usual stopping point, even though the first 2 hours had us just FLYING.
Luckily, we turned things around last night and managed to kill 5 bosses in 3 hours, where we'd only done 4 bosses in 4 hours the night before. Yes, apparently "farmed" stuff is hard, but the "10-20 minute fights, don't fuck up once or you start all over again" encounters? Yeah, pretty smooth.

Since when is there a godsdamned PATH right down the mountainside to the Gnome building on the southern coast of Azshara? Back in my day we had to leap off the cliffs, hope we landed in the non-shallow portion of the water, and then swim over to the building. And then we were stuck down there unless we felt like swimming for half an hour to get back around to the damned Naga beaches.
Hell, my rogue has been 70 for over a year now, and I still don't have 350 unarmed.
Or daggers.
Which actually makes doing TK:TE my time to secretly work on skilling up daggers while using a legendary.
Yes, my dps suffers, but it makes me laugh, and I never really bother working on them while just screwing around in the world.
I should probably grab my new [Shard of Azinoth] and hit something today with it.
Also: hate that said dagger is so aptly named; right now the warlocks and priests are fighting over it for RP gear and so they can stab things in the hopes of proc'ing a little fire buddy. It's so very, very close to just being sharded each week.
Re: Azshara. Man, that place is a shithole. It's like the diametric opposite of STV (on pve servers, so ganking issues aside): not many quests, WAY too spread out, incredibly frustrating terrain to negotiate at times.

I had to go there on my hunter for that goddamned lvl 50 quest.
It took me like 2 hours to do and involved much running around looking for a way back.
