But the newcomers so far are really easy to play, except for maybe Olimar. He'll take some getting used to.
Ike and Dedede SERIOUSLY kicks ass. They're somewhat slow, but super powerful and MUCH easier to use than like, Bowser for example. Metaknight is much faster than I was expecting.

UberEv said that his B moves were largely unchanged from what he remembered from Melee, though he didn't test out the Neutral B. We know his Up-B is at least functionally different, though, so it's hard to say.

I wouldn't mind that, maybe they'd actually get their act together and improve the networking. Or at least give us some sort of compensation.
I'm really excited to see how it sells over in Japan. Since it's the first 'real' game with Mario and Sonic (Mario and Sonic:AtOG really doesn't have the depth this does), I'm expecting massive numbers.

I plan to check out multiplayer online, perhaps play a few games with friends (if they get it at launch like I'm commanding them to), but at least the first week will be me unlocking things for local multiplayer games.
Hopefully they will fix the server by then.
Because they managed to make a fighting game that wasn't like either of those.
It's always a new experience.
And it combines the love many have for platforming games.
Because Smash is a progression fighter done right. (Fight Club is an example of Progression fighting done wrong)
I always hated Health Bar fighting games. You know, where even if you have a tiny sliver of life left, you're still fighting like you're at full health.
I always thought it was so stupid when you'd do some giant ass combo and take someone down to near death... they get back up like nothing happened. You tap them in the face once... and they scream in agony and fall over defeated.
Edit: Also, the roster. I mean, Tekken characters come from Tekken and stay in Tekken. In 1995, if I'd of told you they were making a fighting game, where you could play as Mario, Link, Fox, Kirby, and Donkey Kong... you'd think I was full of shit.
Finally, and this is a big one for me. The stages. How many Mortal Kombat and Tekken games are simply a 2D flat platform? I'll bet 3 digits worth atleast. DOA and Soulcaliber did it a little better, and added a 3D element to it, but it still was the same idea.

I have no problem with them all being Luigi-fied with slightly different A's and B's, but the Final Smash all being the same grates on me.
