Is there anyway to remove images from clothing?

I have a really nice hoodie which I got for free, except it has the words BLOGGER: POWERED BY GOOGLE printed the front, and well, no.

Is there anyway to remove printed on stuff from clothing?

    Is it inked on, or is it a kind of plasticy, rubbery lettering?
