2 worlds- get it?

Almost bought 2 worlds today. I think it looks awesome and the old school style of RPG really appeals to me. Problem is there are about a billion reviews- none of them well written- which disagree a lot about how good this game is.

Has anybody here played it? Is it worth buying?

Thanks!

P.S. I'm talking about the 360 version.

Its fun. If you like broken, half-assed, sorry attempts at Oblivion. Can you download the demo off of Live? Give it a shot before you spend money on it.

I skipped it, on account of the bad reviews. It sounds like it's pretty buggy, it was probably rushed to meet its launch window. I think the wide spread in review scores is a measure of how much each individual reviewer was able to overlook the bugs.

An awful lot of people in the "Games you regret buying" thread have said Two Worlds was one of theirs, so buyer beware :) I know I have heard of a few people who rather enjoyed it, though, so who knows. As said above, try the demo, if that floats your boat, go for it. Worst case scenario, it's cheap, so you won't be out that much.

Can you get it for less than say, $10? If the answer is no, then don't buy it.

I checked it out through Gamefly. While I don't think it was as bad as a lot of people claim once you've put a couple of hours into it, I'd be hard pressed to ever buy it. I have too many other, better games I could play.

I rented it, because it looked damn cool, but the whole game just seemed broken to me. IIRC I think they released some patches for it, but im not sure wether or not they are for the PC version or not.

I had read about it during development and bought it when it came out, I also took it back to the store less than 15 mins later. The game has 2d sprites and a 3-4 frame jump animation that freezes the game.

    It also includes:
    -Horrible voice acting
    -Horrible dialogue
    -Bad graphics
    -Bad dialogue
    -Old diablo inv system
