I bought a new laptop today, primarily for uni work etc. but I'm curious as to whether or not it will run the Orange Box without any trouble. Here are the specs...

Vista Home Premium
AMD Turion 64x2 mobile technology TL-58
2.00 GB RAM
NIVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

And its model is HP Pavillion dv6700

Thanks guys!

You'll be fine. Orange Box doesn't require much.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

Cool, thanks, man. Could I do it on highest graphics? I'm not used to having a good computer haha. I mean, is this Notebook good for a lot of recent games released in like the past year? Won't bother me if it isn't, it's not why I bought it. I'm just curious.

I don't think it will run at highest but it will still run well. I have a similar laptop but it has the 8600M GT and I still had to turn something down.

I imagine you should be able to play all the recent games.
