wii zapper trigger sticking

so yeah the title of this thread is pretty descriptive

the trigger on my wii zapper sticks when I depress it, and does not naturally pop back out when I release it; I have to pull it out with my fingers

suggestions?

    I have no suggestions, but this happens to me too, so it could be a design flaw rather than an isolated thing. I guess we'll find out if others have the same problem.

    There might be some sticky residue underneath the trigger. See if you can pop it off and clean it, but just be careful not to break it. If you have a manual that came with it, give it a look and see if there is a method of doing so.
